8 Months!

I can't believe I am already 8 months along! Crazy! This picture is a little bit better than the last pictures - my cheeks don't look so chubby! :) I am farther along too! I am getting really excited - but starting to feel the anxiety of everything I need to do before this baby can come! :)

Now we can take our baby home!

After a long wait and quite a bit of searching - we finally purchased our car seat/stroller travel system! :) We were planning on getting it for Christmas, but then we built a crib and bought a computer instead. I had my eye on this specific set because I loved the chocolate brown and teal color - plus the design was really cute! I kept watching it online and the price kept going down, and down, and I was getting really excited, and then one day I looked and it was out of stock everywhere in Utah and South Eastern Idaho. I was pretty bummed because I had been so set on that specific one...but started looking for other styles. This past weekend I looked online again just to see if I could find it in a store - and sure enough the American Fork Target had it under "limited availiability." I called them up and found out they had one left and could hold it for 24 hours for me! Luckily I had a husband who was willing to go from a super long day of work and school, straight to American Fork with me to pick up our stroller! Of course I couldn't wait to set it up - so now we have a stroller hanging out in our house! We are getting closer and closer to being ready to have this baby come - but there is still alot to do before he can come! Good thing we have a few more months!

OH pregnancy!

I really can't complain much because I have had a relatively "easy" pregnancy - although I really don't think there is such a thing! :) I only had "morning sickness" a few days and never missed school because of it. I did get the flu one day (which was no fun) but not completely horrible. I have had a harder time than I expected adjusting to the weight gain, stretch marks and the wardrobe change. I really don't love maternity clothes and I don't think that they even are comfortable. As for stretch marks - I would hate to know what would have happened if I hadn't put cocoa butter on my belly EVERY DAY! For the past month I have had some really painful backaches and the top of my belly felt like I had a huge bruise on the inside. At my last doctors appointment I expected the doctor just to tell me "welcome to pregnancy" like he always does when I ask about different pains I have felt - but he informed me that I have a pinched nerve in my back that wraps all the way around to my belly and is causing my nerves to be overly sensitive. (It basically feels like I have a horrible sunburn and moving or touching it is very painful!) Unfortunately - the pain won't go away until I deliver so I guess for the next 2 months I just get to deal. I guess if you don't have the morning sickness or heartburn you trade it for some other wonderful gift pregnancy brings!

Even though these things are a little annoying at times, I would do it all over again in a second! I am so glad that in the end we will have an adorable baby boy to brighten up our lives!

Anson has been a great support through the whole thing and sometimes surprises me will little things to brighten my day! I love daisies, anything bright blue, and surprises - so I definately smiled!

Here are some prego pictures - just don't check out the chubby cheeks! :) Monday, March 2 we celebrated Dr. Suess's birthday at school and one of my teacher friends made me this shirt. She is so talented (thanks Heather!) and she free handed the whole thing! It would have been even more funny if I were having twins - but I don't even know how this one is going to fit! These pictures are taken at 30 weeks! Only two short months left!
