Florida Gator!

I don't know if I have ever seen anyone so excited to be that close to a gator....

We were able to go out to dinner a few nights ago to Clark's Fish Camp here in Jacksonville and it turned out to be quite an experience.  There is a real Florida Alligator inside the restaurant along with taxidermy animals of every kind.....heaven for my little man.  He was so excited to be soo close to so many animals that he didn't want to eat.  It was so fun.  Not only was the atmosphere very wild  - the menu was too: alligator tail, alligator ribs, sea food of every kind, antelope.... definitely some crazy choices.  Anson ordered alligator tail and said it was pretty good.

Fun Florida adventures indeed!!!

Little joys of life...

I haven't posted lately and that is mostly due to the fact that I haven't figured how to import the pictures from my camera onto the new "external hard drive/network" craziness that Anson got for Christmas. And since law school is pretty intense he hasn't had time to show me how. So I guess I do know how to post from my phone - so here are some pictures!
We are just enjoying day to day life and the energy of an almost 3 year old! Mom gets to think of all sorts of different things to keep him from being glued to the TV! We are trying out every other day naps and I often find him asleep in crazy places or positions. The second he sits still he is out! He still loves Animals and this poor kitty is getting tortured (and the thing kept chasing him around asking for more). The eyes look scary but I had to save the kitty and didn't try for a new photo.
Other than that we are just here enjoying the little things every day. Like how Shaef yells "LOOK! Captain America!" Every time he sees an American flag. Or like when he slides his animals down the banister and yells "teradado" but really means "geronimo"!
Now we are preparing for another summer in Idaho to support the dad of the house, spend time with family, and escape the roasty Floridian summer!
