A teacher friend of mine needed a Revolutionary War era costume for a play her daughter is in. My other teacher friend decided that it would be "easy" for us just to make her one - well it was a great challenge but it turned out to be a great experience. I now have alot more confidence sewing and I also realized that I can do a little bit without my mom sitting right next to me. I did have to call her for a few tips though :)! Unfortunately we didn't have our model right here all the time so it was a little tough to fit it perfectly but it will work!

Coming Soon! (or not so soon. . .)
So I guess it is about time that we announce that we are going to be the proud parents of . . .

if you can tell in the picture, that peanut looking thing is a baby! Our little wiggle worm is due May 13, 2009. We are super excited for this little addition to our family! The doctor had a hard time getting the baby to hold still to measure it - I guess we will have our hands full!
Here is some picture documentation of Anson getting the news, and my family getting the news!
