THANKSGIVING IN ARIZONA - THE CRIB!
We asked Anson's Dad if he would help us build a crib for our baby and he agreed to -they worked together all week on it, and it turned out better than I imagined. It is beautiful! All that is left is painting - any color ideas let me know!
The secret is out!
I have been waiting to tell my principal and students about the baby - I decided to have my students do a math lesson on fractions, decimals, and percents by taking a survey on who thought it would be a boy and who thought it would be a girl - It was really fun. I also asked them ideas for names and the results were pretty fun! Here are the results - the majority think it is going to be a boy.

I love your crib!! So pretty! I think you should stain it a pretty dark cherry color! :) MMmmmm! :) And I want to hear some of the names your students thought of! :)
I love the crib! How cool will that be to pass it on within your family! That is awesome! I also think you should stain it. It is too pretty of wood to paint over it. You are such a cute prego lady! I wish I was that cute when I was prego!

I love that crib! That is so fun. And you are so creative with your class... good teacher. My suggestion on the crib color is wait until you know what your having. Or just go with white. You could also just stain it and have it be natural wood. That would be cool too.

What a fun way to break the news to your class! I can only imagine the names they came up with!!! I would also stain it. I'm a fan of dark colors cherry colors. Shane is pretty good at staining things if you need help. He could even laquer and glaze (which makes the stain look even cooler-more variatioin) if you need help!
