OH pregnancy!

I really can't complain much because I have had a relatively "easy" pregnancy - although I really don't think there is such a thing! :) I only had "morning sickness" a few days and never missed school because of it. I did get the flu one day (which was no fun) but not completely horrible. I have had a harder time than I expected adjusting to the weight gain, stretch marks and the wardrobe change. I really don't love maternity clothes and I don't think that they even are comfortable. As for stretch marks - I would hate to know what would have happened if I hadn't put cocoa butter on my belly EVERY DAY! For the past month I have had some really painful backaches and the top of my belly felt like I had a huge bruise on the inside. At my last doctors appointment I expected the doctor just to tell me "welcome to pregnancy" like he always does when I ask about different pains I have felt - but he informed me that I have a pinched nerve in my back that wraps all the way around to my belly and is causing my nerves to be overly sensitive. (It basically feels like I have a horrible sunburn and moving or touching it is very painful!) Unfortunately - the pain won't go away until I deliver so I guess for the next 2 months I just get to deal. I guess if you don't have the morning sickness or heartburn you trade it for some other wonderful gift pregnancy brings!

Even though these things are a little annoying at times, I would do it all over again in a second! I am so glad that in the end we will have an adorable baby boy to brighten up our lives!

Anson has been a great support through the whole thing and sometimes surprises me will little things to brighten my day! I love daisies, anything bright blue, and surprises - so I definately smiled!

Here are some prego pictures - just don't check out the chubby cheeks! :) Monday, March 2 we celebrated Dr. Suess's birthday at school and one of my teacher friends made me this shirt. She is so talented (thanks Heather!) and she free handed the whole thing! It would have been even more funny if I were having twins - but I don't even know how this one is going to fit! These pictures are taken at 30 weeks! Only two short months left!

I'm so sorry about the pinched nerve I have heard from a lot of people that those are absolutely unbareable! As always though you are upbeat and you still look absolutely as cute as ever!!! I can't wait for two more months!

K so I totally had that when I was pregnant! It was about the same time you got it and I don't want to give you false hope but it only lasted about a month for me. I was so surprised because I thought it would last till the end. Hopefully it can be the same for you but like you said if it isn't it's totally worth it! P.S. you dont even have chubby cheeks. I should send you some of my pictures from the end...it would totally make you feel better about yourself!

I know you already know but, it is soooooooooooo worth it!! I knwo you will loose all that weight (especially if you breastfeed and/or pump), it is hard to adjust when it comes on so quickly but a few months of chubby cheeks and a fat belly is a small price for an eternity of happiness with that little baby boy! As far as the stretch marks go start using Burts Bee's "Mama Butter" and continue to use it after your pregnant. I swear by it! I love your cute little belly it looks so perfect and round!
