The Many Faces of Shaef!

I am a little slow this year with the "Yearly Photo" session.  This little man is a few months past 3 years old but I wanted to make sure we got some pictures done!  My cute cousin, who is in high school, is interested in photography so she did a little photo session for us!  I think she did amazing for it being her first time taking pictures of a wild and crazy 3 year old!

Here is my not so little..........little man! What a little stud!
Whoever decided that "cheese" was the word that should be said when pictures are taken should have had an image of my little guy saying "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese" until the picture is taken....we need to come up with a new word.
Doing what he loves most!  Swinging :)
 Love this one!
And of course the goofy side....

We have such a little smartie on our hands!  He is starting to ask really crazy questions like....
"What is a tongue for?"
and
"What is the milky way?" (after they talked about space at story time)

He also likes to try to negotiate and make deals with anyone he can.....
"If I am really good I can have one story!"
"Grandpa I have a deal....when we get home I get a cookie."
or
"That's not the deal!" (If we make a deal he doesn't particularly like"

He loves to do workbooks and is learning to identify his numbers and his letters.  He has finally learned that "F" is pronounced "eff" and not "fee" and that E is for eye and I is for igloo (confusing ya?).  He now wants to know what everything starts with!  He loves to make patterns, match, do puzzles, and we are working on tracing.  He has a crazy memory and can remember every little thing (so we have to be super careful what we tell him or promise him).

He is interested in superheroes and loves to get the "bad guys".  We have had to really work with him lately about not saying things like "I am going to punch you in the face" and that superheroes are good guys and they only get the bad guys....not everyone.  He also loves cars, trains, legos, and pretty much any action figure (toy story, super heroes, pokemon....thanks to McDonalds).  He loves to watch movies and "shows" and his all time favorite right now is "Octonauts" where they save the ocean animals.  He is learning how to ride a bike this summer and is loving that!

He is an amazing eater and will pretty much eat anything we put in front of him (even spinach).  His favorite thing to eat is fruit...especially watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, pears, apples, peaches, grapes, bananas, and strawberries.  The only candy he will eat is tootsie rolls or smarties, but he loves cookies of any kind.  He doesn't like jello or fruit snacks.

He is such a sweet boy and is always wanting to help anyone who will let him.  He always is telling us "I love you too!" even if he is the first to say it.  He also says "I love you so much!"  He waves goodbye to Grandpa Tom and Dad almost every day when they leave for work.  He still takes a nap every day and goes to bed really well!  He loves to "do jobs" and put stickers on his chart to earn prizes.  He has such a big heart and is not afraid to find a new friend anywhere we go.

We sure love our little man!
